I’m Shelley Stedall, and I’m running for Mayor of Quinte West because I believe our community’s best days are still ahead.
Quinte West has been part of my life for many years. It’s where I raised my family, built lasting friendships, volunteered with local organizations, and have had the privilege of serving as a member of City Council. Through more than 35 years in municipal government, I’ve helped communities plan for the future, manage taxpayer dollars responsibly, and invest in the infrastructure and services residents rely on.
I understand the challenges we’re facing—from affordability and housing to infrastructure, economic growth, and protecting the quality of life that makes Quinte West such a great place to live.
As Mayor, I’ll provide experienced, collaborative leadership focused on keeping our community affordable, supporting strong emergency services, investing in our roads, parks, trails, and recreation facilities, welcoming new investment and jobs, and ensuring Quinte West continues to grow responsibly while respecting the businesses, farmers, families, and neighbourhoods that have shaped our city.
This campaign is about listening, working together, and building an even stronger future for Quinte West.
